In this video review for Pro Tools Expert, Technical Editor James Ivey takes a look at one of the new Moog filters by Universal Audio for the UAD-2 DSP platform. James tries the Moog Multimode Filter on Bass, Guitars and Drums in a 70's funk style track to see just how fat and funky he can get.
As someone who is not naturally drawn to synths the Moog Filter Collection by Universal Audio was a first a little daunting for James to take on, but with its simple, uncluttered user interface the Moog Multimode Filter was easy to use and James manages to get some interesting and gratifying sounds very quickly.
